OSH's Tips of the day

Hardware Tip

Never store power tool batteries loose in your tool box. Metal parts in the tool box can short out the battery. Plastic pipe with an inside diameter large enough for the battery and about 1-inch longer than the battery, makes a good storage container, when closed with two pipe plugs.

Gardening Tip

Why not give your vegetable garden an Oriental flavor? The number of varieties available will surprise you and delight the palate. Chinese cabbage, Oriental radish, Chinese wintermelon, edible podded sugar peas, yard-long beans and Japanese eggplant are worth considering.
